Regular wellness exams catch health problems early when treatment is most successful. Eastex Veterinary Clinic provides thorough physical exams assessing your pet’s overall health and wellness.
Wellness Exam Components
Thorough physical exam assessing ears, eyes, mouth, heart, lungs, abdomen, joints, skin, and overall condition. We assess hydration, body weight, dental health, joint mobility, and behavioral changes. We discuss diet, exercise, parasite prevention, and any health concerns.
Preventative Screening
Bloodwork and urinalysis recommended for senior pets to catch disease early. X-rays may be recommended to assess arthritis or heart size in older pets.
Exam Frequency
Healthy adults: annually. Puppies/kittens/seniors: twice yearly. Pets with health conditions: as recommended. Regular exams establish baseline health, allowing us to notice changes.
